PeopleNet’s Mark Botticelli Nominated as CIO of the Year
 |

From safety and compliance solutions like electronic logging devices (ELDs) and Video Intelligence, to fleet performance monitoring tools like predictive analytics and remote diagnostics – the technological landscape of the transportation industry is rapidly evolving.

At PeopleNet, our top priority is to help fleets embrace these new technologies to operate more safely and efficiently. This new technology would not be possible without the tireless efforts of programmers, developers and other tech-minded individuals—the ones that bring these products to life.

With that in mind, we are proud to announce that Mark Botticelli, PeopleNet’s Chief Technology Officer, was recently nominated as a finalist for the Twin Cities CIO of the Year Orbie Award.

Presented by the Twin Cities CIO Leadership Association (TwinCitiesCIO) and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, the Orbie Awards honor chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership. Nominees are evaluated on innovation, leadership, business value creation and community involvement.

Since joining PeopleNet in 2011, Botticelli has led technology strategy and product delivery across wireless, software, hardware, infrastructure and quality assurance. In his role, Botticelli plays a crucial role in helping us to provide our customers with technological innovation and superior product delivery.

Winners will be announced on April 27, 2018, at event at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Find out more about the Orbie Awards and see a full list of nominees by clicking here.
